Traditional Indian tiffin box (lunch box) features basic but much-needed advice in a hectic world: "Eat, Drink, Live." In India, tiffin boxes are used to carry meals to school or work. In Mumbai, 200,000 tiffin boxes are collected from homes each day by “tiffin wallahs” who transport the boxes by bicycle and train to offices all over the city. The boxes are later picked up, cleaned and delivered back to the homes in time to pack the next day’s meal.
Our stainless steel tiffin box is a safe, ecological alternative to plastic containers or brown bags. Three stainless steel compartments with a lid, handle on top, and double-clasp closure. Features English writing on one side and Hindi on the other.
